Bush by Katie Escherich, Nightline (ABC News), December 8, 2008.  President Bush was asked about the Bible and evolution in December of 2008.  If his views did not change between 2005 and 2008, it appears that his remarks in August of 2005 simply endorsed the compatibility of biological evolution with faith in the God of the Bible.
